IMPORTANT SMALL BUSINESS REMINDER:

We are a small, local business.   We offer an OCEAN FRONT, clean, standard unit in a central location.  Our rates are typically less than direct resort and chain offerings. Please be mindful of this when requesting services.  If you do find that there are any significant housekeeping or maintenance concerns, please let us know. 

ARRIVAL / DEPARTURE

 

CHECK-IN 4:00PM

  • Your unit code will be sent directly to you via your travel booking site email at 4PM on arrival day.  

  • You may go straight to the room and use your code to unlock the door. No front desk required. 

  • Sorry, but we are NOT able to honor early check-in requests.   You are welcome to use the resort amenities at any time on arrival day. 

PARKING INSTRUCTIONS

  • GARAGE CODE REQUIRED FOR ENTRY!  Please have ready!  Code is sent in your PRELIMINARY CHECK-IN INFORMATION notice. 

  • PARKING PASS:  One pass will be available in room (pictured below).   Complete parking pass as shown in picture.

  • ADDITIONAL PARKING PASSES:  Are available for pickup at the Blue Palmetto General Store:  2611 N. Ocean Blvd. , Myrtle Beach, SC 29577

  • TIGHT GARAGE NOTE:  There is a 10-story attached parking garage available (clearance is 6’7”). The garage was designed for small to moderate-sized vehicles and contains some compact turns. Trailers are not allowed.

CHECKOUT 10:00AM

  • LINENS: You may leave the linens on the beds and towels on bars.

  • DISHES:

    • 3 BR UNIT:  Load all dirty dishes in dishwasher and start cycle.

    •  OTHER UNITS:  Please clean and put away dishes.

  • TRASH:  Take out kitchen trash bag and place in hallway receptacle.

  • Lock door!

  • Remember all your items at departure.   Check ALL outlets, UNDER the bed and in drawers.  **

** We are NOT responsible for items left behind and unfortunately may not be able to ship them back to you. 

Any returns are subject to a $40 Administrative fee PLUS mailing cost. **

​UNIT INFORMATION

SHOWER INSTRUCTIONS

  • FIRST:  Twist faucet handle.  Water will come out the bottom spout. 

  • THEN: Pull on the diverter at the edge of that spout.  Water will then come out of the shower.   To turn off, just twist faucet off. 

  • HOT WATER NOTES:  Unfortunately the Camelot resort water sometimes takes a while to heat up.   Please let the hot water run for several minutes to reach the desired temperature.

WIFI

  • Network name: CamX (where X = room number)

  • The Camelot WiFi does not require a password.

THERMOSTAT / AIR CONDITIONING

  • Each unit has its own thermostat that you may adjust as needed. 

  • HOT Days Note: Even the best AC is only able to drop room temperature down ~20 degrees.  Therefore, on a hot summer afternoon, when the sun shines on the glass balcony door, the AC will likely not go below 75.   It may be helpful to close the curtain during this time.  If you are still having cooling issues at night or morning, please let us know.

APPLIANCES

  • ALL Units: Coffee Maker - Standard 8 cup.   Requires paper filters.

  • 3BR UNITS:  Dishwasher in unit

LAUNDRY

  • 3BR UNITS:  Washing machine in unit.  

  • OTHER UNITS:   Washing machine located on Camelot 1st Floor.

At checkout, you may leave the linens on the beds and towels on racks.    Housekeeping will pick up all linens & towels.

 

TRASH

  • Please attempt to take out kitchen trash to floor receptacle on check out day. Housekeeping will also be there on checkout day to pick it up.

3BR UNITS – OTHER NOTES

  • The twin bedroom has a "noise reduction" box in the window.   Please leave this in.  In the event of an emergency, it can easily be removed by the handles.

  • The doors have "Ring" camera stickers from a prior residence.   Please be assured that there are no cameras in the unit.  However, we left the stickers to deter outsider theft.

 

PROVIDED

  • Starter paper products, toiletries and dishwasher detergent
  • Linens, comforters, pillows

  • Bath/Kitchen towels & cloths.   ONE set.   

  • We do NOT provide Pool Towels. 

  • We do NOT provide Daily Maid Service

    • Guests may purchase an optional "Mid-Stay Refresh" service 

AVAILALBLE TO RENT:

  • BEACH CHAIRS:   The city of Myrtle Beach provides a Beach Chair & Umbrella rental service directly on the beach in front of the Camelot.  There are also several stores within walking distance to purchase Beach Chairs.  

  • BABY GEAR:  BabyQuip offers clean, sanitized, and safe baby gear to rent during your stay. 

CAMELOT RESORT INFORMATION

HOUSE RULES

  • NO SMOKING:  Smoking is not permitted on balcony OR in room.   $350 fine

  • BALCONIES: No hanging towels, bathing suits etc.  No bird feeding.

  • ABSOLUTELY NO PETS!  UNDISCLOSED PETS: $350 fine and unrefunded cancellation. 

    • Inquire about our other "Pet Friendly" units. 

  • GROUPS:  Blocks of 3 or more rooms must be pre-approved by management and are subject to a $150 damage deposit per room.  

  • ACTIVITIES: Sorry, but we are unable to offer discounts for golf, water parks etc.   Reservations directly through Camelot may include those.  However, direct Camelot rental rates are typically higher than ours.

  • POOLS: Enjoy both the outdoor and heated indoor pools!   Sorry, we do NOT provide pool towels.   Camelot towels are only for resort direct reservations. 

  • HOT TUBS: Enjoy both the indoor and outdoor hot tubs!

  • FITNESS EQUIPMENT:  Gym located on 2nd floor.

  • LAUNDRY:   Coin operated facility located on 1st floor, lazy river side.
